Welcome to the official website for Northern Illinois Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners. The Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) is a non-profit mutual benefit association with membership open to anyone with interest in or responsibility for the varied aspects of contingency planning. Contingency planning, business continuity and disaster recovery is an important element for business and government agencies. Emergency managers and business continuity planners alike address mitigation, response and recovery planning issues. The purpose of the Association is to provide and facilitate an environment for exchange of experience and information. Our chapter prides itself on meeting content, networking events and collaboration. Our members learn about state-of-the-art business continuity, IT recovery and crisis management techniques. The Northern Illinois Chapter represents contingency planning professionals throughout Illinois, but there is a concentration in Chicago and its suburbs.
